Learn to River SUP with CAN RVR SUP Team!

Join Badfish Team Rider co cofounder of CAN RVR SUP Reta Boychuk and CAN RVR SUP Team Rider Brandy Beverly as they introduce you to the world of river paddling and the opportunity to paddle Badfish SUP River Specific Boards. The team will progress you from a flatwater river specific skills clinic on the evening of Day 1 to river specific safety and skills training on the Columbia River the following two days.

Our Friday evening flatwater session will review all the flatwater strokes and foot positioning needed to control and turn your board on the river and we will also be practicing self rescues to build comfort. Saturday we’re on to moving water to apply our flatwater skills and to build our river experience. We start with river safety and hazards evaluation and then progress to learning to carve the boards across eddy lines, ferry them across current and even surf small waves if we can find them! Sunday we will be back on the river for more river fun as we continue to apply our skills and build confidence. You will leave the weekend with your Paddle Canada River 1 Skills Cert, a new set of foundational skills and connections that will set you up for future river running success.

This clinic will also give you the opportunity to try out the new Badfish industry leading RiverShred SUP inflatable. This is going to be a super fun weekend of learning and time spent living the river life!
